conEX NG (NG = Next Generation) is battenfeld-cincinnati’s new series of conical twin screw extruders with a complete re-design of the predecessor models in the areas of process technology and mechanical engineering. The advantages are higher outputs through optimized screw and barrel design and the energy consumption can be decreased by up to 20%. A wider range of materials and compounds, including regrind, can be processed with just one screw configuration and process pressures up to 520 bar.
